Way of Wade 10 “The First Pick”

“Kui Xing Dian Dou, Du Zhan Ao Tou” is an ancient Chinese saying derived from the folktale of Kui Xing and the student with the highest grades in imperial examination. On the day of releasing grades, Kui Xing, the god of examination in Chinese religion, would circle the name of the student who ranked first in the imperial examination. This most brilliant student would then meet the emperor in person, and be the first one to be picked to study further or start career in the central government. Shout out for all young D. Wades who keep pursuing dreams, believe in the way you have made and will make.

Designed in beige and dark red, patterned with artwork of Kui Xing, and decorated with ancient Chinese elements, Way of Wade 10 “The First Pick” was released on September 10th, 2022. On the left shoe, the four Chinese characters, “Kui Xing Dian Dou”, are placed near shoe lace buckles, and on the right shoe, the four characters are “Du Zhan Ao Tou”. Its insoles are designed in red, with patterns stating Kui Xing and the student’s story.

Way of Wade 10 “Zoo”

Tiger, leopard, crocodile, zebra, snake... Hold all the strengths of wild animals, be the veritable game changer on court. As a professional basketball player, Dwyane Wade is gifted both as an offensive shooter and a serious defender. With all the tactics and strategies accumulated from daily training and one-after-another games, he is invincible in creating legends, leading the way of MAKING YOUR OWN for all young D. Wades.

Patterned in different kinds of animal fur and skin, Way of Wade 10 “Zoo” was released on October 14th, 2023. Except for the number “10” and DNA patterns placed on the tongue, Way of Wade 10 “Zoo” is decorated with four “teeth” near shoe lace buckles. On one side of its upper, there is a specially knitted pattern in the shape of beast scratching. Numbers “003” are printed on both of the insoles, with one of them patterned in crocodile skin, and the other in tiger fur.

As Way of Wade is devoted in wild animal protection, no real animal skin or fur is applied in making the shoe upper. All the animal skin and fur on the upper, as well as the four “teeth” near shoe lace buckles, are just patterns and decorations.

Way of Wade 10 “Red Dragon”

Dragon, the ancient creature holding all great qualities, is a representation of prosperity, power, and hope. Blessed by the Red Dragon, Dwyane Wade is calling all young players to come after him and create legends by tearing down the opponents' defense lines, and roaring for victory. May the flame burns its brightest, be the game changer in your own way.

Curved by red dragon scales, Way of Wade 10 “Red Dragon” was released on October 21st, 2023. It represents the courage to challenge and the power of turning the table with decorations of dragon elements from the inner side to the outer side: two rows of dragon scales “grow” on insoles, with words “WAY OF WADE” on each section; red, complete dragon scales cover the upper and pull-tab, with the left shoe decorated with “WOW X” near shoe lace buckles, and the right shoe with “DWADE”.

Way of Wade 10 “Gentleman”

“Brogue, a style of low-heeled shoe or boot, is traditionally characterized by multiple-piece, sturdy leather uppers with decorative perforations (or "broguing"), and serration along the pieces' visible edges.” Introducing this timeless fashion to the design of professional sneakers, Way of Wade is telling the world that even for outstanding sporting players, “In me the tiger sniffs the rose” works. Aim high on court, be gentle in life.

Designed in black, white, and brown, Way of Wade 10 “Gentleman” was released on October 28th, 2023. It honors all the good qualities and gentleness hidden under tough or fierce appearance with perforations-decorated leather upper. A patch stating all the important years for Dwyane Wade is placed on the inner side of the tongue, and Wade's brand logo is placed on the pull-tab. 

Way of Wade 10 “White Dragon”

Dragon, the ancient creature holding all great qualities, is a representation of prosperity, power, and hope. Blessed by the White Dragon, Dwyane Wade is calling all young players to come after him and create legends by tearing down the opponents' defense lines, and roaring for victory. When the ice freezes its hardest, break it through in your own way.

Curved by white dragon scales, Way of Wade 10 “White Dragon” was released on November 4th, 2023. It represents the courage to challenge and the power of turning the table with decorations of dragon elements from the inner side to the outer side: two rows of dragon scales “grow” on insoles, with words “WAY OF WADE” on each section; white, complete dragon scales cover the upper and pull-tab, with the left shoe decorated with “WOW X” near shoe lace buckles, and the right shoe with “DWADE”.

Way of Wade 1 “Hall of Fame”

As Dwyane Wade’s first signature shoe after partnering up with LI-NING, the Way of Wade 1 symbolizes another beginning of his legendary life. In honor of Dwyane Wade being named to the 2023 Class of the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame, Way of Wade 1 “Hall of Fame” retains the appearance of the initial version, while the midsole was upgraded with LI-NING BOOM technology. Referencing D. Wade’s beige childhood home, its beige suede leather upper is embellished with salmon marble TPU. The inner side of the tongue on the left shoe is detailed with a combination of the Hall of Fame trophy and Way of Wade's logo, and numbers and letters honoring Dwyane Wade’s family and belief are placed on the heels and outsoles. On the inner side of the tongue on the right shoe, there are patterns of Dwyane Wade's three signature jerseys from his high school, Professional League and national team, and “My belief is stronger than your doubt" is D. Wade's motivation for himself. Way of Wade 1 “Hall of Fame” was released on August 19th, 2023. The Way of Wade 1 not only has been one of D. Wade’s top picks on court, but also serves as his best day to day kicks off the court.
