Way of Wade 10 Series Colorways

WoW, an acronym for Way of Wade when referring to Way of Wade professional sporting shoe series. With the first Way of Wade shoe released in 2012, Way of Wade series is now in its 10th iteration, surpassing the court with glory and legends.

The first two released colorways of Way of Wade 10 series were “Sunrise” and “Blossom”, coming out on July 1st, 2022. Same year, at the end of July, Way of Wade 10 “Team No Sleep”, a very clean colorway consist of black, white, and blue, was released to honor Dwyane Wade’s

appreciation to his team and followers who have worked relentless for and behind him. Way of Wade 10 “305” was released on August 28th, 2022, followed by a limited release, Way of Wade 10 “The First Pick”, on September 10th, 2022. Designed in all-white, Way of Wade 10 “White Hot” was the first colorway in Way of Wade 10 series with a single color. The second and third single-color Way of Wade 10 were “Mint” and “Lavender”, released at the beginning and end of October, 2022, respectively. Way of Wade 10 “Test R1” came into the market on November 13th, 2022, and this was the last release of Way of Wade 10 in 2022.

Embarking on 2023, to satisfy more needs of sporting players in different fields, Way of Wade Team introduced Way of Wade 10 Low, and the first colorway was “Valentine’s Day”. These white-based basketball shoes in this romantic colorway then quickly hit the professional sporting shoes market, and made a way for other WoW 10 Lows coming later. Way of Wade 10 “Art” was the first high-top WoW 10s released in 2023, followed by “Florida” in April. On May 1st, 2023, the low version of Way of Wade 10 “White Hot” came into the market. “Element” was a special colorway in Way of Wade 10 series, as its two versions, the high-top and the low-top, were completely different in color and patterns. Way of Wade 10 “South Beach” was released on June 10th, 2023, reminding everyone of the hard work of Dwyane Wade on the way to breakthrough and championship. Starting in July, several colorways of Way of Wade 10 Low, “Cherry Blossom”, “Orange”, “The City of Angels”, and “Avocado”, inspired young D. Wades to mismatch their shoes on court. Designed in black and yellow, Way of Wade 10 “caution” was released on October 3rd, 2023. After that, Way of Wade Team prepared all Team Wade members and guests four limited releases: Way of Wade 10 “Zoo” on October 14th, Way of Wade 10 “Red Dragon” on October 21st, Way of Wade 10 “Gentleman” on October 28th, and Way of Wade 10 “White Dragon” on November 4th. Finally , to celebrate the new performance records of D'Angelo Russell with Lakers, Way of Wade Team released Way of Wade 10 Low “Ice Blood” and Way of Wade 10 Low “Away” at the end of 2023.

Dwyane Wade & Way of Wade 10

Dwyane Tyrone Wade Jr., born January 17, 1982, is an American former professional basketball player. Wade spent the majority of his 16-year career playing for the Miami Heat of the National Basketball Association (NBA) and won three NBA championships, was a 13-time NBA All-Star, an 8-time member of the All-NBA Team, and a 3-time member of the All-Defensive Team. Wade is also Miami's all-time leader in points, games, assists, steals, shots made, and shots taken. Wade is widely regarded as one of the greatest shooting guards in NBA history.

After a successful college basketball career with the Marquette Golden Eagles, including leading the team to the Final Four in 2003, Wade was drafted fifth overall in the 2003 NBA draft by the Heat. In his third season, Wade led the Heat to their first NBA Championship and was named the 2006 NBA Finals MVP. In honor of this moment, Way of Wade Team released Way of Wade 10 “White Hot” and Way of Wade 10 Low “White Hot”- “In the year of 2006, when a flame burned its brightest, and the intensity was at its peak, White Hot was born! At that time, numerous activities were designed to energize South Florida. People put aside their differences and took up “White Hot Pride” to support Miami Heat. Dwyane Wade carried this pride and won the championship for the city, which was his first championship in his career.”

In the 2008-2009 season, Wade led the league in both total points (2,386) and points per game (30.2), the latter stat earning him his sole NBA scoring title. Wade was selected as the NBA All-Star Game MVP in 2010. In 2012, Dwyane Wade collaborated with Li-Ning and founded the brand, Way of Wade. Wade briefly left Miami to play for the Chicago Bulls and the Cleveland Cavaliers throughout 2016-2018 before returning to Miami to finish his playing career and retire with the Heat in 2019. In 2023, Dwyane Wade was named to the 2023 Class of the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame. He is the Flash, the game changer, the man, and the legend.

It is is a light, durable and ultra-responsive midsole material called “Thermoplastic Elastomer”. It works like a mini trampoline, and when being compressed, it can spring back and push the contacted object forward. In practice, the full-length BOOM midsole provides sporting players with higher responsiveness and better cushioning so that they can start faster and land safer. It also helps in accumulating more energy for dunking higher.

CARBON-FIBER PLATE is another important sneaker technology applied in Way of Wade 10 series. Made of lighter and stronger carbon fiber compared with traditional TPU materials, sporting shoes with CARBON-FIBER PLATE are better in rigidity, cushioning, and torsion-resistance. It provides more stability and support during exercise, as well as better transmission of paddling force, which leads to less waste of energy and better performance on court. Drawing inspiration from nature, the upper of Way of Wade 10 is as thin as a dragonfly's wings, winning it the lightest combat boot in the history of this series. Having read enough on the biography of Dwyane Wade, Joe Choo designed Way of Wade 10 series with lots of Wade elements: numbers representing Dwyane Wade’s championship years are placed on the tongue and near shoe lace buckles, the number “10” and DNA patterns are placed on the tongue and shoelace eyelets; flash pattern is placed on the shoe upper, and brand logo is placed on the pull-tab. Except for the three colorways, “White Hot”, “Florida”, and “South Beach”, which were inspired by Dwyane Wade’s basketball career and after-game life, Joe Choo originated several light single colorways in Way of Wade 10 Lows, such as “Orange” and “Cherry Blossom”. He also introduced Way of Wade 10 series to the field of fashion with visually shocking elements on the upper, for example, Way of Wade 10 “White Dragon”, which hit the market suddenly and ran out within a minute.
