Components of Wade All City 12

Wade All City 12, coming on Wade Official in December, 2023, is an upgraded version of Wade All City 11 and Wade All City 11 V2. Combining fashion with practicality, the first four released colorways of Wade All City 12 series are "City of Angels", "Origin", "Announcement", and "Sunshine State", and more colorways are coming in 2024. As many Team Wade members and guests are wondering what the point of releasing Wade All City 12 is at the end of 2023, in this article, we’ll explore and analyze the components of Wade All City 12 in three parts, and see how these tiny pieces work together to assist in effective movements and secure performance.   

UPPER

Most uppers of Way of Wade sporting shoes are made of only one material, like fabric in Wade All City 11 and TPEE yarn-woven fabric in Wade All City 11 V2, however, the uppers of Wade All City 12 series are made of several materials and designed in three parts to maximize its advantages in lockdown and comfort. The first part of shoe upper of Wade All City 12 is toebox (shown as ① in the picture above). It’s made of dense woven mesh fabric to protect toes during quick start. The second part is midfoot mesh upper with logo-patterned TPU (shown as ② in the picture above). This provides good breathability and enough horizontal support for sporting players. Finally, the third part is the heel (shown as ③ in the picture above), which consists of leather foxing and comfortable collar lining. These two components not only increase comfort and stability around the heel, but also provide outstanding ankle support.  

MIDSOLE

The midsole part of Wade All City 12 consists of PROBAR LOC upper stabilizer (shown as ④ in the picture above), full-length BOOM midsole (⑤), and PROBAR LOC bottom stabilizer (⑥). Equipped with LI-NING BOOM technology, the midsole in Wade All City 11 V2 is 50% lighter in weight and 80% higher in responsiveness compared with traditional midsole material. It also improves the cushioning of Wade All City 11 V2 by 19%. The PROBAR LOC upper stabilizer and PROBAR LOC bottom stabilizer form double-layer anti-torsion system. This assists in quick start or stop, as well as rapid or explosive movements to every direction.

OUTSOLE

Full-palm surrounding TPU protector (shown as ⑦ in the picture above), upward outsole rubber protection plate (⑧), and TUFF RB outsole (⑨) form the outsole part of Wade All City 12. Equipped with TUFF RB technology, the outsole of Wade All City 11 V2 is more durable with the help of upward outsole rubber protection plate. Its patterns are designed in three types and towards various directions so that the strong traction can be assured during crossover. Different from Wade All City 11 and Wade All City 11 V2 which are equipped with curved TPU protectors, Wade All City 12’s full-palm surrounding TPU protector is designed with cutouts on all three parts of the shoe. This provides sporting players with enough flexibility when forging to different directions. A relatively small toe spring angle of the tip is another highlight of the outsole, which lessens pressure under forefoot palm and saves energy for explosive movements.
